But if more of us develop tree-affinity, I’m sure there will be greater opposition to avaricious tree chopping. Earlier, I used to look up at trees when stopped at traffic signals while driving, also because, that's the best way to avoid looking down at any ugliness on the road. On a few such occasions, after the light turned green and the guys at the back began to honk incessantly, I'd think, why can't my cloddish countrymen reform... then I'd realize that I was holding up the traffic, and also, I was violating a basic rule of the wonderful hobby of tree watching... a brawl on the road may have resulted in various injuries, including torn ligaments. Now, I'm a reformed tree watcher, who only uses public transport, so, even when I'm on the streets of Bangalore, I shall lose myself in the verdent beauty of whatever surviving canopy we have, just as I shall when sitting indoors or outside... Thanks, Sidey, for opening my eyes.JKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16279431265100641243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2233796119130974352.post-31504254651804552612019-04-27T16:48:53.132+05:302019-04-27T16:48:53.132+05:30A treat of a treatise on tree-watching!
